European Broadcasting Union decided on Friday, to confirm Albania as the host country of the 80th EBU General Assembly in 2018.
The application submitted by the Albanian national broadcaster, RTSH, to host the EBU General Assembly, won in front of other candidates turning Albania into the host of one of the biggest public broadcasters events.
The EBU is the largest public media organisation. It comprises 73 members from 56 countries around the world.
RTSH became a full member of EBU in 1999.
